On March 4, 2026, Judi and Susan participated in the Read-A-Thon at the Ruth K. Broad Campus. We spoke to three sessions of 4th graders and had a blast! We discussed with the students how a book goes from an idea to a manuscript to a finished publication. The students had so many great questions! We also found out that almost every student has seen a Manatee at least once and they were very curious about them. They even stumped us with a question about how long Manatees live! (A manatee of 70 years old was recently found!)
